Bright Summer Nails

Hi everyone!

Do you ever just feel like you need to make some kind of weird statement and wear something that is completely bizarre. Often these things are bight, bold and colourful, and I get that all the time, especially in summer. Well it's Friday, and for some strange reason, I felt like I could easily pull off some snazzy (!) fluorescent nails. Maybe it was because the 5 Seconds of Summer (see what I did there) that we had here in England is over and that I want to relive those carefree memories of being able to wear my new Topshop shorts for the first time. Or maybe it was because today's lessons consisted of History, PE, Latin, Chemistry, and English. Anyway, I felt like painting my nails, and here's what I did:

So for my thumb, I painted my nails with 3 coats of Astor Mint Candy, then topped it off with a coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Top Coat.

For my forefinger, I used Gabrini Number 27 (the yellow) then painted a triangle in the Astor polish.

I just used Gabrini Number 12 on my middle finger, and then did a 'half and half' with the pink and yellow shades.

My pinkie is just a French manicure using the yellow and the green. 

So, what do you think? Are these nails really cool- or are they just a tiny bit over the top!
